I wrote this text one day I was fed up of seen another guy claiming that the Earth is 6000 years old just before draving away in his GPS-enabled car. People who believe that scientists are bad guys with only purpose in life in to deny God, should not make use of any device/concept that have been discovered by the scientific method over the last 2000 years, including medical services.
I'm not convinced that humanity is capable of becoming the Culture because I think people in the Culture are just too nice - altering their genetic inheritance to make themselves relatively sane and rational and not the genocidal, murdering bastards that we seem to be half the time. Iain M. Banks.
